Øresund Bridge – Phase 2 (245 kWp)

Øresund Bridge Phase 2 is an expansion of the existing solar PV system with 1,222 m2 of new panels and an additional 250 kWp of capacity. The solar PV system is expected to produce 500,000 kWh annually, and with the doubling of the ground-mounted system, the Øresund Bridge will be able to cover up to 10% of the bridge’s total electricity consumption with self-generated power.

The solar PV system is part of the Øresund Bridge Consortium’s strategy to reduce CO2 emissions and a step towards achieving their ambitious goal of becoming the world’s most sustainable bridge in 2025 and fully climate-neutral operations in 2030.
