DSB’s Train Workshop

DGNB certification provides developers, contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties with a shared tool for collaborating on sustainability considerations—something we are proud to take part in as part of this modern construction supply chain.

The solar PV system at the workshop in Næstved delivers a total capacity of 910 kWp and consists of 2,025 state-of-the-art 450 W panels distributed across a 4,000 m2 roof area, integrated with a sedum roof.

The panels are installed in an east/west orientation to achieve an even output throughout the day, and the system is expected to deliver a total of 856,000 kWh per year, serving as another sustainable contribution to DSB’s overall goal of reducing the climate impact of operations by 98% by 2030! 🌱 🚂
