Coop Distribution Centre - 1 MW
As part of COOP Denmark’s strategy to reduce CO₂ emissions by 5,000 tonnes annually, a 1,025 kWp solar PV system has been installed at the distribution centre in Odense. The system consists of 2,500 monocrystalline solar panels and is mounted on an east/west-oriented mounting system.
The solar PV system is designed to supply energy for on-site consumption and is connected to five different switchboards due to the building’s complex layout. Executing the installation required detailed planning, the use of an emergency generator to ensure continuous operation, and close coordination with all stakeholders. This project supports COOP’s green transition and ambitions for a more sustainable energy supply.
