Grenaa District Heating Plant – 11 MW

In 2023, SolarFuture delivered an 11 MW solar PV system to Grenaa District Heating Plant in two phases.

The solar park was developed in two phases and today consists of approximately 19,000 solar panels distributed across three transformer stations, and is an integral part of Grenaa District Heating Plant’s ambitious energy optimisation plan for the plant’s development of district heating based on renewable energy.

At the switching station, park control was established to manage communication between the solar park and the utility company. In addition, the system was connected to the client’s large SCADA system, enabling Grenaa District Heating Plant to continuously monitor the system’s production and condition.
